Administrators' Reports at Neillsville School Board Meeting

-The Neillsville School Board heard the Administrators’ Reports at their meeting on Monday.

Elementary Principal Scott Schiller reported on attendance, October 19th and 20th is Parent-Teacher Conferences, he attended an Elementary Principal Conference October 11th-13th, mentioned a data meeting held on October 10th and PBIS. High School Principal Craig Anderson reported on attendance, a blood drive held October 11th, October 16th was the first day of middle school boys’ basketball practice and a flu clinic is being held in the high school auditorium. He also mentioned November 6th is the first day of high school girls’ and boys’ hockey and girls’ basketball practices, November 12th is the FFA Pancake Feed, November 13th is the first day of middle and high school boys’ basketball and wrestling practices and he discussed Homecoming week.

Finally, District Administrator John Gaier reported on a thank you card from the family of Char Drescher, an invitation to Business After 5, a thank you from MMC for the district’s support of Mingle, an update from WAEF regarding the state budget and an editorial regarding the disparity in funding in Wisconsin Schools. He also mentioned an article regarding the impact of poverty on education, a diagram showing changes in per pupil funding in the U.S. and two Focus articles.
