Stanley Man Sentenced for Possession

-A Stanley man charged with possession was sentenced in Chippewa County Court.Back in January, the Stanley Police Department and Taylor County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant at a home on the 100 block of South Broadway Street in Stanley. Officers discovered meth in the home and arrested Nicole Spath and Zene Wiese. They are facing possession charges. The departments also recommended charges against Brandon Hudson and Misty Lane for possession and maintain a drug trafficking place.
During Wiese’s court appearance, he pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine. Four other charges were dismissed and read in. He was sentenced to 24 months’ probation with 150 days of conditional jail time. Lane had the charges against her dropped, Hudson was sentenced back in July and Spath will be back in court next week.
