Boyd Man Sentenced for Drug Charges

-A Boyd man arrested as a result of a drug investigation in Thorp was sentenced in Clark County Court.On Wednesday February 1st of this year, there was a Clark County warrant issued for Wayland D. Johns for Manufacture and delivery of Amphetamine. Wayland was arrested in Chippewa County and transported to the Clark County Jail on February 2nd.
Johns was found guilty, due to a no contest plea, of manufacture and deliver amphetamine. He was sentenced to 3 years in prison and 3 years of extended supervison. He also owes the courts $810.48.
