Neillsville School Board Approves Out-of-State Field Trips

-The Neillsville School Board approved a couple out-of-state field trips at their meeting on Monday.The board approved the FFA to the National Convention later this month and for an awards trip to Chicago this summer. They also approved the youth options requests for the spring. The options were given administration and counselor approval beforehand. They also approved a book donation from a former Neillsville resident/graduate.
Finally, they approved the district’s participation in the Health Insurance Consortium that all local school districts are taking part in. This helps keep insurance premiums down, flexibility to add other premiums if necessary and more. The insurance will still be through Security Health Plan.
