Neillsville City Council Hears Several Committee Reports

-The Neillsville City Council heard several committee reports at their meeting last week.They heard the Parks and Recreation Board report from September 13th. They heard a report on all the programs run by the rec. department and a report on the list of projects done by the parks department. Both parks and rec. presented their 2018 budget as well. The council heard the Heritage Days Committee report from their meeting on September 14th. The committee discussed some possible new ideas for next year including a Frisbee golf, hole in one tournament, derby cars and a meet and greet with local law enforcement officials. They also discussed bands, sponsorships, new ideas for the pub crawl and approved their budget to remain the same for 2018 at $1,500.
The council also heard the Airport Commission report from September 18th. The commission discussed the budget and approved some minor changes here and there. The council also heard the Neillsville Community Fire Hall Board report from September 21st. They approved the 2018 budget and heard the usual information.
