Clark County Board of Supervisors Approves Easement

-The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved an easement at their meeting last week.The board approved the easement to Northern States Power Company, which requested it so they can install and maintain electrical lines with a 20 foot wide area along north and east portions of the Clark County Courthouse property. The board also approved a temporary Administrative Coordinator for the county as their current coordinator, Clinton Langreck, has resigned from Clark County’s employment, effective October 14th. This temporary coordinator will give the board time to weigh their options.
Finally, the board had the first reading of their new records retention ordinance. The board has had a records retention policy in place since 2001, but, after reviewing the language, it was decided that the ordinance needed to be updated, more specifically, with the retention schedules. The board will have the second reading at their next meeting.
