Administrators' Reports at Owen-Withee School Board Meeting

-The Owen-Withee School Board heard the Administrators’ Reports at their meeting last week.Jr./Sr. High Dean of Students Julie VanArk reported on the terrific summer school session that was just completed and the 7th grade orientation and school open house that was held on August 24th. The fundraiser for the Hurricane victims of Texas went very well. Homecoming will be the week of September 24th-September 30th. Parent-Teacher conferences will be held on Monday, October 2nd from 4-8PM.
District Administrator Bob Houts reported on the progress being made in the Town of Hoard School Forest and the hope/plan to have the tubing run yet this fall so that sap can be harvested next spring. He reminded the board that the October Board meeting has been moved to Monday, October 23rd. The Annual Meeting/Budget Hearing will be held at 7:00 PM with the regular Board meeting to follow.
