Neillsville City Council News

The Neillsville City Council heard the Report of Officers at their meeting on Tuesday.

The Neillsville Police Department had 127 complaints, 48 service calls, 45 traffic citations, 68 traffic warnings, 3 crash investigations, 9 ordinance citations, 10 adult arrests, 2 cases referred to D.A.’s office, 4 juvenile cases and 48 parking citations. Some other notable activity includes Chief Klueckmann attending a conference, a drug search warrant executed on 7th Street and all officers attending firearms training. The department was also able to purchase two new radar speed signs thanks to a $6,000 donation from the Listeman Foundation.

The department has also heard a good response in regards to the city’s new sidewalk ordinance. Finally, other council members mentions that they’re working on the taxi for 2018, the Harvest Moon Fall Tour and the city’s Autumn Harvest Fest.
