Central Wisconsin State Fair Wraps Up

(WDLB) -The Central Wisconsin State Fair wrapped up in Marshfield yesterday. General Manager Dale Christiansen said there were good crowds for the annual demolition derby Monday afternoon.There was rain on three days of the fair, but only brief showers Wednesday and Monday, plus a total washout on Saturday. Overall, Christiansen said everything went very well, considering he was brought on board as General Manager three months before the fair.
As for changes, Christiansen says he's already looking ahead to next year, and thinking that fewer food vendors selling similar projects would be a plus moving forward. Christiansen was brought in back in May to replace Adam Fischer, who resigned as general manager back in late April.
