Marshfield Man Cited For Facebook Post

A Marshfield man was cited after police investigated a disturbing Facebook post.According to the Marshfield Police Department, the man, whose name was not released, posted to “shoot up schools, not heroin.” The man claims he meant the statement as a joke and meant no harm to anyone. However, the department did have officers in place at the school Friday morning as a precaution taking all threats seriously.
The man who posted the message was given a citation because he had no previous criminal history
