Marshfield Area Pet Shelter Partners with Law Enforcement for Kitten Adoption

-Marshfield Area Pet Shelter has partnered with the Marshfield Police Department and Marshfield Fire and Rescue Department in a unique marketing campaign and calendar fundraising project.With many homeless kittens currently in need of a forever home, MAPS volunteers developed the idea to partner with local public safety departments in an effort to promote adoptions. Twelve kittens posed with firefighter/paramedics and police officers at their respective departments. MAPS is working with local company Premier Printing to design and develop a calendar, which will be sold at MAPS’ Adoption Center in the Marshfield Mall beginning in October, with all proceeds being donated. All kittens featured in the campaign are available for adoption. Throughout the month of September, adopt one cat or kitten and take half off the adoption fee for the second. Marshfield Area Pet Shelter is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization actively engaged in raising funds to build a permanent humane shelter for the greater Marshfield area. MAPS is currently operating in a temporary home on W. 29th Street and at an Adoption Center located inside the Marshfield Mall. Open hours at the Adoption Center are Monday - Friday from 4:30-6:00 and Saturday from 11:00-2:00. Currently, there are no open hours at their location on 29th Street.
