Fun Events at the Neillsville Public Library

-The Neillsville Public Library has some fun events happening.The Neillsville Public Library is a part of the Wisconsin State Science Festival this year. So, to commemorate that, on November 3rd at 10:30am, they will host a special story hour for kids learning about pond ecosystems. They’ll have stories, crafts, treats and a game for kids to learn about ponds. Then on November 4th at 10am, they’ll have Professor Glen Stanosz of UW-Madison, an expert on tree and forest health, coming to speak about fungi and forest ecosystems. He also studies tree diseases caused by fungi and has provided consulting services for various forest management programs.
