Time for the Clark County Fair

-The Clark County Fair is almost here!There are lots of exciting things taking place at the Clark County fair including animal judging, Fairest of the Fair, 4-H has talent and 4-H family fun, and more. Entertainment for the week includes the Tractor Pull on Thursday night starting at 7:00 p.m. Friday evening the Men’s Club Truck Pull starts at 7:00 p.m. with People’s Choice Band at 9:00 p.m. playing in the beer garden. The Chocolate Dessert Contest is held on Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. That evening the Men’s Club Demo Derby starts at 5:00 p.m. (the first of a 2 day event) with Moon Dog Band playing at 9:00 p.m. On Sunday the Men’s Club Demo Derby continues at 1:00 p.m. In addition, to the events listed there is free entertainment in the Listeman Bandshell daily at 11:00 a.m. Walk down the fairway to the Quonset building to see the “Cans for A Cause” displays and Hub City Trains.
Season passes are $10.00 with daily admission fees at $5.00. Saturday is Senior Citizen’s Day and admission for anyone 60 and over is $3.00. Season passes will be available at the UW-Extension Office in July. There will also be advance sale tickets for armbands for the carnival rides.
