New Traffic Signal in Dorchester

-The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is scheduled to install new traffic signals at the intersection of WIS 13 & County Highway A located in the village of Dorchester near the Clark County & Marathon County line.The traffic signals will start in the flashing mode of operation in early August. The initial start-up flashing mode is used to increase motorist awareness of the new traffic signal. Motorists will encounter flashing yellow signal indications on the WIS 13 approaches and flashing red signal indications on the County Highway A approaches. Motorists should treat the flashing yellow lights as a yield and treat the flashing red lights as a stop sign.
The traffic signals are expected to be placed in standard stop and go operation several days after the start-up flash begins.
