Alma Center Man Appears in Clark County Court

-An Alma Center man, arrested after an accident with a milk truck south of Neillsville appeared in Clark County Court on Thursday.Back in October, Harry Dougherty was arrested by a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants causing bodily injury. Dougherty was operating a vehicle which was involved in a traffic crash with a milk truck on Highway 73, near Middle Road. Dougherty’s passenger’s femur was broken during the crash.
Probable cause was found during his preliminary hearing so his court proceedings will continue. He also entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him which include OWI causing an injury, knowingly operating while revoked, injury by intoxicated use of a vehicle, PAC causing injury and injury by use of a vehicle with PAC. However, a plea and sentencing hearing was set for September.
