A Thorp woman arrested for zip-tying a puppy’s legs together appeared in Clark County Court on Tuesday.
According to court records, the Clark County Sheriff’s Department was looking for the individual responsible for tying the puppy’s legs together. The ties had cut so deep that you could see bone on the puppy’s legs.
Jill Warminski of Thorp was identified as the puppy’s owner and she told authorities she tied the animal's legs because she and her children were unable to take care of the animal.
During her preliminary hearing on Tuesday, probable cause was found, so his court proceedings will continue. She entered a not guilty plea to the charges against her and she’s scheduled to be back in court on July 6th.
