Arrest Warrant Issued After Eau Claire Man Fails to Appear in Court

An Eau Claire man arrested after a search by the Augusta K9 Unit failed to appear in court on Tuesday.
According to the Augusta Police Department, the stop occured at the Kwik Trip on Otter Road in Eau Claire after officers noticed suspicious behavior from the driver and passenger. The K9 unit, Turbo, indicated there were drugs in the vehicle.
After a search, they found methamphetamine, cocaine, ecstasy, LSD, and other items. They also found $5,000 in currency. Jacob Restad and Amber Jacobson were arrested. Restad was scheduled to appear in court yesterday, but failed to do so. A bench warrant for his arrest was issued.
