Employment Matters at Greenwood School Board Meeting

-The Greenwood School Board approved some employment matters at their meeting on Monday.The board accepted the resignation of Janelle Schmit. They also approved the employment of Kaitlyn Reil for Third Grade, Marah Bodendorfer as the MS SPED/Resource teacher, Renee Fait as the Spanish teacher, Haley Yates for High School English, Brad Helsten as the Head Coach for Boys Basketball and Damon Severson as the Middle School Football Coach. They also approved six volunteer applications.
The board approved the final budget transfers for 2016-17 heard an update on the 2017-2018 Budget development, approved the district participation in the Federal School Lunch Program and approved a 10-cent increase in lunch prices for 2017-18. Elementary lunch price will be $2.75 and high school will be $2.95. The board also received an update on the status of summer maintenance, repair, and replacement projects. Finally, the board approved the 2017-18 Middle/High School Student Handbook, adopted the Wisconsin State Academic Standards for 2017-18 and the board was presented the AGR/SAGE report for 2016-17.
