Committee Reports at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-The Neillsville City Council heard several committee reports at their meeting on Tuesday.The council heard a report from the Personnel Committee meeting held on June 14th. This was the meeting that recommended to the council that a public works employee be put on probation. They also interviewed candidates for the Assistant Clerk-Treasurer position. A Personnel Committee meeting was also held right before the Common council meeting on Tuesday. They approved the candidate for the Assistant Clerk-Treasurer position and it was approved again during the Common Council Meeting.
The council also heard a Grants Committee report from June 15th. This was the meeting that recommended to the council that they accept the $17,805 loan application. The council also heard two Heritage Days Committee Reports. They discussed Miss Neillsville, food vendors, the golf outing, movie night, the bean bag tournament, the bartending schedule, kids’ games, bartenders, ticket sellers, tents, bands and banners.
