Body of Missing Marshfield Woman Found

Thursday, June 29th, 2017 -- 11:28 AM

(WDLB) -The body of a missing Marshfield woman has been found in the Yellow River.

Marshfield Police Chief Rick Gramza, who declined an immediate interview, said through a press release that the body of 46-year-old Anna Ineichen was discovered at 5:30 Tuesday afternoon in the Yellow River south of Highway 54 in Dexterville, one mile from where Anna’s vehicle was discovered late last week. Ineichen was positively identified following an autopsy at U-W Madison, and the cause of death was ruled a drowning.

Anna was last seen last Thursday evening at her Marshfield home. Her black Ford Escape S-U-V was found last Friday morning in Dexterville in the area of Highways 54-and-80. Ineichen’s family has been notified, and the Marshfield Police Department is not releasing any other information at this time.
