Marshfield Police Department Investigating Counterfeit Money

The Marshfield Police Department is investigating counterfeit money.

According to the department, six counterfeit $100 bills were used at the Fleet Farm in Marshfield between May 16th and the 23rd.  A similar incident occurred at Rogan’s Shoes in Marshfield.  An individual purchased two pairs of shoes and paid for them with the counterfeit bills.

It’s believed the suspect in both cases is the same person.  The department will be using video surveillance to determine who used the counterfeit bills and when.
