Greenwood City Council Approves Several Items

-The Greenwood City Council approved several items at their meeting last week.Roberta Pabich was in attendance to ask for an extension on a lot she purchased from Ron Cuddie which she bought from the city which had a stipulation that something needed to be built on the lot by June of 2017. The city extended her an extension for 3 years until 2020. The city will also be interviewing seven candidates for the police officers position. They approved the Compliance Maintenance Report and approved to have crack fill and seal with Fahrner for a cost of $66,829.
They also approved 2017-2018 licenses, approve an agreement with Morgan and Parmley for the Begley Street project and approved Ordinance amendment 9-1-3 and 9-1-7. Finally, the approved a $.25 raise to employees effective July 1st and approved Betty Jolivette to the Greenwood Housing Authority Board.
