One of Four Arrested During Thorp Drug Bust is Sentenced

-One of the four people arrested in Thorp after a drug investigation was sentenced in Clark County Court on Friday.Back in February, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, Thorp Police Department and the West Central Drug Task Force executed two search warrants in the City of Thorp. The search warrants were executed at 600 North Washington Street and 303 ½ North Church Street. The search warrants were a result of an ongoing drug investigation by the Sheriff’s Office and Thorp Police Department. There were several arrests and a child was placed into protective custody by Clark County Social Services.
One of the arrested, Saige Marten, was found guilty, due to a no contest plea, of maintaining a drug trafficking place, possession with intent and neglecting a child. Four other charges were dismissed and read in. She was sentenced to 3 years’ probation and owes the courts $528.
