Report of Officers at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-The Neillsville City Council heard the Report of Officers at their meeting last week.For May of 2017, the department had 170 complaints, 67 service calls, 77 traffic citations, 104 traffic warnings, 3 crash investigations, 14 ordinance citations, 10 adult arrests, 3 cases referred to the district attorney’s office, 7 juvenile cases and 3 parking citations. Those numbers were mostly in line with May of 2016.
Some other notable items include some death investigations, the active shooter situation, some traffic grant opportunities, community events, the parking enforcement position was filled, radar training, the purchase of two radar speed signs, Click It or Ticket and the search for a missing person.
