Granton Village Board Hears Update on Campground

-The Granton Village Board heard a campground update at their meeting last week.According to the unofficial minutes from the meeting, the Homerun Road is officially installed. The board thanked one of their members for donating his talents and time to excavate the project. The oats that were donated to seed the campground, unfortunately, did not come up due to the excessive rains. Grass seed was recently added and porta potties have been installed.
Supplies to build 13 picnic tables have been purchased and they will be built next month and the campground will be named at a future date. The village budgeted $20,000 for the campground.
