Clark County UW-Extension's Field Day

-Please join the Clark County UW - Extension for a June field day.The first is June 22nd from 12:30 ??" 3:00, on the Ralph Smrecek Jr. farm, located at W5979 Kington Road in Greenwood. Ralph has 20 plus years’ experience in no-till farming. Ralph will share his experiences of implementing no-tilling of crops on their dairy operation. Richard Halopka, Clark County UW-Extension Crops & Soils Agent will discuss and demonstrate how a corn plant develops and timing of applying nitrogen to the growing crop. Jason Cavadini, Assistant Agriculture Research Superintendent at the Marshfield station will discuss some of the no-till practices implemented on Ralph’s farm.
This field day will beneficial for farmers, agronomy, and agency professional. You are welcome to attend no matter how far you travel. The field day will have timely topics and demos to provide information to improve crop production management and soil health on your farm. There is no cost for this field day. Field days are rain or shine events, so please come dressed accordingly. CEU’s are applied for both field days.
