Owen-Withee School Board Hears About Maintenance Projects

-The Owen-Withee School Board began their meeting on Monday by hearing a list of maintenance projects.District Administrator Bob Houts reviewed the status of items on the summer maintenance list that was approved at the May meeting. Items completed include the pulley/motor system for baskets in the HS gym, filling in the reading pit, and carpet in the elementary IMC, as well as replacing the carpet with tile in 6 of the elementary classrooms is well underway.
The fire alarm system, shower repairs to the elementary locker rooms, parking lot repairs and renovation of the high school boys locker room are underway. Glazing and painting the high school hallway and painting the door frames in the HS will take place in July.
