88th Wisconsin FFA Convention

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -Financial support behind the Wisconsin FFA continues to reach high levels.During the 88th Wisconsin FFA Convention in Madison on Tuesday, State FFA Foundation Board President Amber Vickers Keller announced that sponsorships and other contributions to the organization have totaled $483,010 this year. Attendees also heard from State FFA Foundation Director John Hromyak, who challenged students to get involved and take advantage of the opportunities that FFA has to offer because of the generous support of its donors.
The 'Stars Over Wisconsin' shined brightly on Wednesday night in Madison as FFA members where recognized for their accomplishments. Some local students receiving recognition included Katelyn Zimmerman of Spencer taking first in the Job Interview contest and the Spencer FFA won the Sr. High Quiz Bowl contest. Convention delegates also elected 10 new state officers including Ciara Koboski of Black River Falls and Kathryn Lampi of Owen-Withee.
