Physical Loans Available to Farmers in Some Counties that Experienced Storm Damage

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The acting administrator of the USDA's Farm Service Agency announced that physical loss loans are available to producers in 11 counties in Wisconsin where farmers suffered major physical losses caused by high winds, hail, lightning, rain, flash flooding and tornadoes between May 16-18.The Wisconsin counties listed in the designation include Barron, Buffalo, Eau Claire, Jackson, Jefferson, Juneau, Polk, Rock, Rusk, Sauk and Trempealeau.
Meanwhile, an additional 23 Wisconsin counties are contiguous to this designated disaster area. That means producers in those counties may also be eligible for programs based on the designation. For more information, contact your local county FSA office.
