Black River Falls Man Sentenced for Stealing from Hotel Rooms

-A Black River Falls man arrested for stealing from hotel rooms in Jackson County has been sentenced.According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, Kyle Iverson allegedly broke into rooms at the Homestead Inn in Millston and stole items. Some of the items have been recovered, but others have not. Iverson was also arrested for forgery. The department said he was forging fake checks designed to look like they were issued by the Juneau County Jail.
Iverson was found guilty, due to a no contest plea, of burglary of a building or dwelling and forgery. Several other charges were dismissed and read in. He was sentenced to 5 years’ probation with a condition of 9 months jail time.
