Monday, May 29th, 2017 -- 8:12 AM

This summer enjoy the Clark County Farmers’ Market experience.

Farmers’ markets are a great place to purchase healthy, fresh, locally grown produce while providing an enjoyable place to visit with friends and neighbors. Initial start dates may vary, but WIC and Senior Citizen Farmers Market vouchers will be available after June 1st and most markets are open or will open after June 1st.

Day and times of the approved Clark County farmers markets are:
Tuesdays from 11am-3pm for Abbotsford
Tuesday from 2pm-6pm in Loyal
Wednesday from 2pm-6pm in Greenwood
Saturdays from 8am-12pm in Owen
Saturdays from 8am-Noon in Neillsville.

If you have questions or concerns about a local farmers market please call the market manager. If you have questions about becoming a vendor or WIC and Senior Citizen voucher training contact Tammy Sloniker, Dietitian, Clark County Health Care Center, at 715-229-2172 ext. 282 or Richard Halopka UW-Extension Crops & Soils Agent at 715-743-5121.
