Cadott Woman Sentenced for Smuggling Contraband Into Prison

-A Cadott woman charged with smuggling contraband to her son in the Stanley prison has been sentenced.According to court records, 70-year-old Rosetta Nelson was charged with delivering illegal articles to an inmate after it was discovered that she began smuggling contraband into her son, back in 2014. Nelson later admitted to smuggling the items in.
During her court appearance on Wednesday, an amended complaint was filed and she was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, violating laws against a state institution. The two other charges were dismissed and read in. She owes the courts $443.
