Administrators' Reports at Greenwood School Board Meeting

-The Greenwood School Board heard the Administrators’ Reports at their meeting last week.District Administrator Todd Felhofer reported on several items including state budget deliberations continuing and the new math and Spanish curricular materials for implementation next year are arriving. He also talked about the 1st Annual Cloverbelt Conference Art Show which was held April 21 and 22. He offered kudos to Alex Saager. There were 12 schools involved with nearly 200 pieces of student art on display. The High School Music Department POPS concert was presented on Monday May 15th. It was a great display of the students’ talents. And AES and TES scholarships were awarded following Board Policies 5451.01 and 5451.02.
The district also received their traditional paper copy of District Policy Manual and it will also be available through their webpage very soon. The Civil Rights Data Collection process was completed by the May 10th deadline. This is a biennial survey of all public schools in the US and it looks at access and barriers to educational opportunity for all grade levels. Finally, the School District of Greenwood is very proud to have another Crystal Apple Winner, Mr. Scott Moseley.
