Greenwood School Board Discusses Health Insurance

-The Greenwood School Board discussed health insurance at their meeting last week.The district Staff meeting with M3 and Security Health Plan was held on May 9th. Representatives provided the staff with information on registration in to the plan and the schedule of benefits. Transition to the Health Insurance Cooperative and Security Health Plan continues. Updates were also provided on the 2016-2017 budget. The board also reviewed and approved the list of possible summer projects. They approved the 2017-18 Open Enrollment applications, approved the Youth Options courses for 2017-18 and approved the changes to the Activities Code as part of the 3-year review of code.
Finally, the board approved job descriptions for Instructional Assistant, LMC Assistant, Middle/High School Administrative Assistant, Elementary School Administrative Assistant, School District Administrative Assistant and Office Assistant. Several open positions were also posted including Agriculture Teacher, Middle School English & Social Studies Teacher, and Middle School Special Education/Intervention Teacher.
