Greenwood School Board Elects Officers

-The Greenwood School Board began their meeting on Wednesday by electing their officers.Dean Lindner was selected as President, Dawn Jacobson was selected as Vice-President, Mark Shain was selected as Treasurer, Sarah Shaw was selected as Clerk and Pam Delo was selected as the Trustee. Also, a “Thank You” letter will be sent to the family of David Vesel for the memorial gifts to the Drama, Baseball and Band programs at Greenwood High School. The board also approved field trips for the Boys Basketball Camp at UW-Oshkosh and the Summer Survival Camp.
In employment matters, the board approved the resignations of Lindsay Meissner and Tara Busse, the employment of summer temporary employees, 3 to work in the summer school program and 3 to work in custodial department, the contracts of athletic coaches and co-curricular advisors for 2017-18 and the employment of Joe Green as the Elementary School Principal and Michele Green as the LMC & Technology Integration Specialist for 2017-18. The board also heard two presentations. Jenni Mayenschein presented on the use of therapy dogs in schools and Scott Moseley provided the Board with an update on the Outdoor Classroom Nature Center Project.
