Granton Village Board Approves Road Repair Bid

-The Granton Village Board discussed a road repair bid at their meeting last week.According to the unofficial minutes from the meeting, the board accepted a bid with Superior to repair the road. The board also discussed funding 2 storage units and a lawn tractor for a Fall Fest Raffle with proceeds going to park enhancements. The village will contact the softball association and inquire if they are interested in sponsoring a raffle.
The board also heard the Water Report. It was stated that the Chemical Feeders have been acting up and monitoring will continue. It was reported that water usage is up so there may be a water leak or running toilet. The park was double checked to make sure the leak wasn’t there. The extra usage is sporadic so it is likely a toilet and will not be identified until meter readings at the end of June.
