Water Tours Happening This Summer

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin is teaming up with the University of Wisconsin-Discovery Farms program in holding so-called Water Tours this summer.The purpose of the charter bus tours are to provide local elected officials, dairy producers and community leaders the opportunity to see the latest in water management practices. The trips will be held June 21 in the Marshfield area, and June 22 near River Falls.
The first day includes stops at the Marshfield Wastewater Treatment Plant, Eron Agronomics and Mullins Cheese. Day-two will include tours of the City of River Falls' storm water management facility, Ellsworth Creamery and Dry Run Watershed.
