Neillsville School Board Approves Several Items

-The Neillsville School Board approved several items at their meeting on Monday.The board approved a bid from Kuhn’s Flooring & Decorating, LLC in the amount of $38,788.16 to redo the middle school floor. The other items approved include the bid from Johnson Construction in the amount of $5,345.00 to redo the middle school ceiling, lunch prices at $2.40 and $2.60, and breakfast prices at $1.25 for the next school year, WIAA membership for the next school year and an out-of-state field trip to Costa Rica in July 2018 for the High School Spanish Club.
In regards to employment matters, they approved the resignation of Courtney Poeschel from her teaching assistant position and the retirement of Lynda Urban from her bus driver position and Bill Arndt from his maintenance position. The board approved Mark Spencer for the building and grounds supervisor position, Scott Bryant for the head football coaching position, Chris Poeschel for an assistant football position, Alaric Huls for an assistant football coaching position and Duane King for a middle school football coaching position. The board also approved the initial adoption of Policy EFF and heard the Administrators’ Reports.
