Granton Village Board Hears Annual Review

-The Granton Village Board began their meeting last week with the Annual Review.According to the unofficial minutes from the meeting, the annual financial meeting was posted 14 days in advance in the three locations designated by the Village. The clerk presented an outline of the 2016 expenses and revenues. Each expense category was reviewed and discussed. Each revenue category was reviewed and discussed. No questions or corrections were noted. The board also discussed ATV Routes. It was stated that County K from Hill to Hwy 10 can be opened for ATV access. The board needs to request this be opened to the county board.
They also discussed some projects that are on hold including the park project, the sidewalk restoration project and the spring flag installation project, all though progress on the projects is expected soon.
