Owen-Withee School Board Hears Administrators' Reports

-The Owen-Withee School Board heard the Administrators’ Reports at their meeting last week.District Administrator Bob Houts discussed with the board their desire to continue receiving the American School Board Journal and, unanimously, the board indicated that they would like the subscription terminated. He also discussed the Spring Recognition Dinner held on Wednesday, May 3rd in conjunction with Teacher Appreciation Week. Several Years of Service honorees and retirees we recognized, as well as the Elementary and Jr/Sr High School Teacher of the Year. Congratulations to Brandi McKay, Elementary Teacher of the Year, and Debra Smith, Jr/Sr High Teacher of the Year.
Finally, the board received a thank you note from the Woodgrove Workers 4-H for allowing them to use the school for the Easter Egg Hunt, Mary Niemi for the recognition of her 30 years of service to the district, Ryan Dieringer for the district’s support of the Cloverbelt Conquers Cancer fund raiser this past winter, the Boys’ basketball team for their support of the program and from the 4th grade classes to their support of the fieldtrip to Madison.
