Pork Quality Assurance Plus Training Offered in Clark County on Friday

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -Individuals who are interested in being a Pork Quality Assurance Plus trainer, or in being re-certified, can participate in a training session in Clark County this week.The program will be held on Friday at Seuberts in Dorchester. To be a PQA Plus advisor a person needs to be a veterinarian, Extension Agent, or Agriculture educator with a DVM, B.S. in Animal Science, or equivalent degree plus two years of relevant swine experience. Advisors, after completion of the training, will be eligible to certify pork producers in PQA Plus.
There will be no charge for this training, and lunch will be provided with support from the National Pork Board and Wisconsin Pork Association. To register for this training, call 715-613-1603.
