Neillsville City Council Approves Several Items

-The Neillsville City Council approved a handful of items at their meeting on Tuesday.The council approved several people as part time workers for the Cemetery, Public Works, Parks, and Recreation Departments. They also approved the resignation of Rita Sternitzky from her Assistant Clerk-Treasurer position. They also approved filling Rita’s position and they approved the resignation of Jayne Perrine from the city’s Beautification Committee.
Finally, the council approved closing W. Seventh Street, W. Sixth Street, West Street and the lower city parking lot on Saturday, July 15th for the Motorhead Mafia Car Club’s antique car and bike show. They also accepted a $35 donation from Derek Lund for the Neillsville Police Department’s K-9 Program.
