Sex Offender to be Released in Neillsville

-A convicted sex offender will be released into the Neillsville community next week.

Pursuant to Wisconsin State Statute, the Clark County Sheriff’s Department is notifying residents in the Neillsville community that on Tuesday, May 16th, Mark Davis will have completed his sentence for third degree sexual assault of an elderly female and his criminal history places him in a classification level which reflects the potential to re-offend. He will be residing at N1340 Miller Avenue. The sheriff’s department wants to remind citizens that Davis is not wanted by the authorities at this time and citizen’s abuse of this information will not be tolerated.

Davis will be supervised by Wisconsin Department of Corrections Agent specialized in intensive supervision. Special supervision conditions include no unsupervised contact with minors, no taverns, bar, liquor stores. He is not to consume any alcohol or drugs, comply with the standard sex offender rules, cooperate with electronic monitoring, face to face contact with law enforcement and comply with all requirements of the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry Program.
