Fire at Spencer Sawmill

-The Spencer Fire Department responded to a sawmill fire Monday night.

The fire occurred at Wolf’s Sawmill around 11:30pm. According to the department, the fire stated when a conveyor belt malfunctioned. The fire began where logs are transported into the mill.

It mainly damaged the machine that carries the logs. There were no injuries in the fire.
