Employment Matters and More at Neillsville School Board Meeting

-The Neillsville School Board discussed employment matters at their meeting on Monday.The board approved the hiring of Amy Veltus for a cook position, Jordan Jacobsen for a special education teacher position, Kendra Pfeiffer for a special education teacher position and Kate (Mueller) Hare for the JV volleyball coaching position. They also approved the renewal of the bus driver contracts for the 2017-2018 school year as presented and approved the renewal of the teacher contracts for the 2017-2018 school year as presented. In other business, the board approved the co-op track renewal with Granton and the co-op golf renewal with Loyal.
The board also approved the selection of Dewey Poeschel for the City of Neillsville TID Joint Review Board, approve the bus bid from Wisconsin Bus Sales in the amount of $82,998 for a new bus, approved the selection of Turf Tamers for mowing and trimming services for 2017, approved the student insurance renewal with First Agency in the amount of $14,895, approved the contract with Memorial Medical Center for CNA coverage for the 2017-2018 school year, approved the resolution to join the health insurance purchasing cooperative and approved a donation of golf balls for the golf team from the Arlyn and Donna Bryan family.
