Greenwood City Council Approves Several Items

-The Greenwood City Council took care of some re-organizational matters at their meeting last week.The oath of office was given to re-elected council members Doug Schlough and Travis Petke. They also approve Bernie Bock as an Emergency Government Official, approved 2017-2018 committees, approved depositories and appointed Tracy Nelson as council president. They also had a Public Hearing for the CDBG grant. Craig Johnson from West Central Regional Planning chaired the hearing. A Greenwood resident also asked if where the water break was in front of her home would be fixed during construction. It was stated that new pipes will be laid.
They approved Resolution Anti-Displacement Assistance Plan and approved resolutions 3-17,4-17,5-17,6-17.7-17 and 8-17. They also accepted a Greenwood officer’s resignation, accepted a paving bid from American Asphalt in the amount of $38,800 and approved several permits and licenses.
