Granton Village Board Hears Several Reports

-The Granton Village Board heard several reports at their meeting last week.According to the unofficial minutes from the meeting, they heard the Water Report. Tower inspection was completed and a copy provided to each board member for review. The pollutant water test was completed on both wells with approximately 34 different samples. All samples were good. The ground fault at the lift station was replaced to prevent cold weather issues. The chlorinators at Well 4 were repaired. The board also reviewed the Waste Water Report presented outlining the month’s activities, noting that discharge started April 1st. The village is discharging 280,000 gallons per day for approximately the next 20 days. A GPS was purchased for the purpose of mapping the water and sewer lines in the village.
The board also heard the Treasurer’s Report. The March 1st beginning balance in checking was $31,550.14 ending balance March 31st was $51,672.24. The March 1st beginning balance in the money market account was $516,081.95 and ending balance on March 31st was $441,505.72. The expense summary for March was presented and reviewed.
