Public Works Report at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-The Neillsville City Council heard the Public Works Report at their meeting on Tuesday.The usual amount of work was done in the city including cemetery and parks maintenance, equipment maintenance, trimming and pruning trees, picking up branches, street sweeping, maintaining street lighting, filling pot holes, hauling brush and compost and more. They also installed the no parking signs on north Grand Avenue, changed decorative banners and they heard about spring cleaning, an electronic recycling event, asphalt bids, summer help and more.
The council also heard the Report of Officers. For March, the department had 128 complaints, 65 service calls, 40 traffic citations, 55 traffic warnings, 3 crash investigations, 3 ordinance citations, 19 adult arrests, 4 cases referred to the D.A.’s Office, 10 juvenile cases and 18 parking citations. Some other notable items involved some crash investigations, death investigations, some disturbances and Neillsville businesses and more.
