Marshfield Man Sentenced After Arrest in Crimes Against Children Operation

-A Marshfield man arrested during a crimes against children operation was sentenced in Marathon County Court last week.Back in December, the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department, Wausau Police Department, Everest Metro Police Department and Spencer Police Department organized a local task force team to conduct an Internet Crimes against Children Operation called KG-4 Initiative. This operation was conducted out of the High Tech Crimes Unit located at the Sheriff’s Office. Three people were arrested in the initiative including Lynn Davison of Marshfield. All three arranged to meet a fifteen year old for sex acts and charges have been filed with the Marathon County District Attorney.
Davison was charged with using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime. He was found guilty, due to a no contest plea, on Thursday of last week. He was sentenced to 8 years’ probation with one year of conditional jail time.
