Marshfield Clinic Offering a Series of Training Sessions to Help Adult Cancer Patients in Active or Post-Treatment Manage Stress

Marshfield Clinic is offering a series of free training sessions in Marshfield to help adult cancer patients in active or post-treatment manage stress and promote relaxation.Stress Management and Relaxation Training for Cancer Patients, or SMART, is offered 5:30-7 p.m. Mondays, April 17-May 15. Sessions facilitated by Clinical Psychologist Jennifer Michels, Ph.D., and Oncology Survivorship Coordinator Mindy Gribble, R.N., will be held at Marshfield Clinic Health System YMCA, 410 West McMillan St., Marshfield.
There is no cost to attend the class. Participants are welcome to bring a guest. SMART participants will learn skills to enhance awareness and control of thought patterns along with strategies to promote relaxation and improve well-being. Registration is required by April 10.
